OUR HISTORY

Established in Trenton, New Jersey in 1925, State Capital maintained modest beginnings as a judgment search company. Founded by strategic visionary Fred Eler, the Company flourished in difficult times, expanding its services to include records searches, foreclosure reviews, document filing and property searches. Fred established State Capital based on three basic values: people, product and pricing. He believed in providing clients with quality products, exceptional customer service, and affordable pricing.

Now, over 95 years later, Chris Eler, Fred’s great-grandson is managing and leading the fourth-generation independently-owned family Company. Today, State Capital is the most experienced public records searching company in the nation having reviewed more than 500,000 cases. Our mission combines the integrity of its past with the technologies of today to stay relevant in an increasingly competitive marketplace.
